What comes to your mind when you are asked about the one person who is closest to your family, supports you up, cheers you up, and never reveals your secrets to anyone, and why is it your sibling?
Even friends don't reveal secrets, don't talk behind your back, support you, but why is the bond with siblings so pure and worthy rather than friendship? Ever wondered why? It is just not about the relationship that lies in blood, but more than that, a bond that comes first over friendship and not even close to the H in hate!
Yes, you do fight, you pull each other's hair and sometimes don't even talk after a big fight. But, isn't it for a matter of 10 minutes until you ask your favorite one to bring a glass of water or switch on the fan? One moment we’re biggest rivals and the next moment it’s like we’ve never loved anyone except them.
It wouldn’t be wrong if we say siblings are our first friends, having been raised together they know us better than anyone else even ourselves. We don’t even have to say anything and they’ll know what’s wrong with just a look. They understand us like nobody else, they’re by our side through thick and thin. Most friendships end badly with fights and someone getting hurt but that’s never the case with siblings at the end of the day we are there for each other and it’s like we never fought. People grow apart in friendships when they drift away but with siblings we know it’s a lifetime bond that cannot be broken. They won’t leave us over a fight and forget all memories they’ll stand by our side, They’ve seen us in worst and best times. No matter how much we make fun of each other we know that we’ve got each other’s back. From taking the blame and covering up in front of our parents to being your
#1 supporter siblings are always there for you. And fortunately or unfortunately no matter how much you might want to get rid of them you just Can’t. It’s a bond forever and always

They scold us when required and protect us when we need them. They’re our first friends because We grow up playing together, we can have more fun with them than most friends and they can take care of us like our parents. They’re the people we envy the most and somehow the people we love the most too. We accept each other for who we are despite our differences and have a stable relationship. It’s an unbreakable bond we cannot fight or drift away at the end of the day we’ll stand for each other. They’re the ones who teach us how to make friends so it wouldn’t be wrong to say siblings are our first friends.
